Sadahide’s art included the eleven pictures of flowers and (or) birds shown in this gallery. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Like most other members of the Utagawa family of artists Sadahide drew flowers and birds only semi-accurately. Presumably, his aim was to entertain picture viewers by depicting his flower and bird subjects in an unexpected way.
